Corrections Policy

We aim to keep AIM Solutions content accurate, useful, and clear. This policy explains what corrections we consider, how to submit a request, and how we handle minor errors, material changes, and outdated content.

What we accept

We welcome specific, verifiable correction requests about content published on AIM Solutions. A request may concern an error or omission involving:

  • Names, dates, figures, definitions, or other factual details
  • Spelling, grammar, labeling, or formatting that changes or obscures meaning
  • Broken, inaccurate, or misleading links
  • Statements that are no longer current or require additional context
  • Material omissions that affect a reader’s understanding of the subject

What is generally not a correction

Disagreement with an editorial viewpoint, a preference for different wording, or a request to remove accurate information solely because it is unfavorable does not necessarily constitute a correction. We may still review these concerns as editorial feedback.

How to submit a correction

Send requests to contact@aimtemplates.com. Please include enough information for the editorial team to locate and evaluate the issue.

  1. Provide the page URL.

Include the complete URL of the AIM Solutions page containing the issue.

  2. Identify the exact location.

Quote the relevant sentence, heading, table, link, image caption, or other content and explain where it appears on the page.

  3. Describe the correction.

Explain what is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear, or outdated and, where possible, suggest precise replacement language.

  4. Include supporting information.

Share reliable sources, documents, links, dates, or other context that supports the requested change. Please disclose any relevant relationship or interest in the subject.

Requests are easier to evaluate when they identify a specific statement and provide evidence. We may contact the sender for clarification or additional documentation.

Minor and material corrections

Minor corrections

Minor corrections address errors that do not substantially change the meaning of the content. Examples may include typographical errors, grammatical mistakes, formatting problems, or a broken link. These changes may be made directly without a prominent note when an update note would not add useful context.

Material corrections

Material corrections affect the meaning, accuracy, interpretation, or practical use of published content. Examples may include an incorrect factual claim, a significant numerical error, a misleading omission, or a change that alters a recommendation or conclusion.

When appropriate, we may add an update note identifying the nature of the change and the date it was made.

Update notes and editorial review

The AIM Solutions Editorial Team reviews correction requests based on the available evidence, the significance of the issue, and the content’s intended use. We may correct the page, clarify the wording, add context, update a link, or determine that no change is needed.

For material changes, an update note may appear near the relevant content or at the end of the page. The note may describe the general nature of the correction and its date without reproducing every editing decision.

Submitting a request does not guarantee publication of a correction, an update note, or a particular wording. We do not promise a response time, but all requests should include a usable email address if follow-up is needed.

Outdated or no longer relevant content

Some pages become less useful as products, standards, practices, links, or other information change. If you believe content is outdated, explain what has changed, when it changed, and provide supporting information where available.

Depending on the circumstances, we may revise the content, add a clarification, label information as historical, redirect the page, or remove it. Removal is considered when content is substantially outdated, duplicative, misleading, no longer supported by available information, or otherwise unsuitable for continued publication. We may retain content when it has historical, explanatory, or editorial value, with updates or context where appropriate.

Do not send confidential, sensitive, or private information unless it is necessary for us to evaluate the request. Correction requests do not replace legal, financial, compliance, medical, HR, or other professional review.
